Lego PlayStation Diumumkan Secara Resmi

A Lego set paying homage to the classic original PlayStation console was officially announced at the Sony State of Play, confirming rumors from earlier this year. The brief look at the upcoming set showed off the build, including clicky buttons and some tiny vignettes to classic PlayStation games.

A post on the PlayStation Blog details the set. The 1,911-piece set is built to be almost a 1:1 scale to the original PlayStation. It includes a model PlayStation console and controller, and will cost $180 when it releases on October 4.

To pay homage to the PlayStation for its anniversary, the Lego PlayStation has lots of little details and homages, like tiny dioramas of Ape Escape and Gran Turismo. The Gran Turismo model shows a model race track with hairpin turns, while the Ape Escape vignette shows a beachside island scene. This is similar to some of the Nintendo Lego sets, like the Mario question mark block set that's full of diorama displays of iconic Mario 64 scenes. Both miniatures look like they extend out of panels built into the side of the console.
