Frostpunk 2's next bit of DLC literally turns up the heat with yet another environmental disaster to deal with: volcanoes
Frostpunk 2 is, by its very name, a cold game. That's its whole shtick, that the world is covered by an apocalyptic blizzard, and it's on you to figure out how to keep your city running amongst the harsh conditions. Aiming to do for Scrabble what Balatro did for poker, Beyond Words gives you the same framework of a rack of tiles and a board upon which to make words, and also a set of ridiculous power cards that see your scores explode with each passing turn. If you have been keeping a candle lit for State Of Decay 3 since its 2020 reveal trailer purely for the prospect of fighting a zombie deer then, I'm afraid, it's time to blow that candle out. Apparently, the CGI reveal trailer was made when the open-world zombie survival game was barely a concept. Six years on from the reveal, Undead Labs have a working build of the game and it doesn't feature the reanimated corpse of Bambi. Though it does let you turn a kettle into an IED. Read more
